Executive Chef Evan Hennessey and his brother Jared started Flavor Concepts with a vision of creating the area’s finest catering service. The goal was to bring high end restaurant food, fresh ingredients and professional service to the world of catering.

Flavor Concepts caters anything from extravagant weddings, intimate dinners and festive holiday parties to gourmet corporate lunches and drop offs. We offer everything from plated dinners, hors d’ouvres, and buffets, to family style and tapas. No event is too small and Flavor Concepts prides itself on its ability to cater larger events without sacrificing our values and the quality, taste or presentation that guests have come to expect from us. Flavor Concepts caters for up to 500 guests.
A unique dining experience.
Our catering service provides a comfortable and unique dining experience to our clients without the confines of a conventional fine-dining restaurant. Each experience is ‘catered’ to your dining and dietary needs and built around the offerings of the season. Our servers are professional and experienced and knowledgeable about the food and beverages they serve.

A unique location.
Flavor Concepts has an intimate 24 person dining room on-site that is available for client’s use to host their functions or events. The dining room is the perfect location for wedding rehearsal dinners, corporate meetings or family and friend celebrations. The dining room can be decorated as requested and has the ability to accommodation presentations. Pictures of the dining room can be found on the gallery page of our Stages at One Washington website. Stages at One Washington is a restaurant operated by Flavor Concepts’ staff that hosts periodic “themed” or “concept” dinners for the general public. Please note that the dishes on the gallery page of the Stages website are dishes from the tasting menus for the “themed” and “concept” dinners. Although designed and prepared by the same chefs, our catering menus and dishes are created and scaled based on the nature of your event and your dining and dietary desires.
Local is best.
At Flavor Concepts we work closely with local farmers and use only the freshest ingredients. Flavor Concepts can even use whole animals or produce provided by a client’s family or friend’s farm for their event. Our menus do not contain pre-fabricated and frozen products. We have found that while a lot of restaurants have begun using fresh ingredients in their dishes, most caterers still use low quality, commercially produced food that can be purchased in bulk. We ensure our ingredients are of the highest quality by purchasing directly from local farms around New England. When out-sourcing ingredients is necessary, we procure only the finest items from purveyors across the nation.
